The Eastman Selects met the Winnipeg Warriors in game 1 of the best of five quarter final in the Winnipeg Midget AAA league. The season series was tied at 2 games a piece whereas the Warriors took the last two games quite convincingly, outscoring Eastman 12-3. This playoff round not only meant a continuation to their season, but also a little payback for the less than stellar losses in the past............AND THE SELECTS DIDN'T DISAPPOINT. |

EASTMAN ENDS REGULAR SEASON ON A HIGH NOTE |

The Eastman Selects regular season drew to a close Saturday night in Ste. Anne facing the Central Plains Capitals. The Selects weren't about to take things lightly and have to face what went on during Wednesday nights game against the Lightning. Also on hand again was Devon Schade for the second straight game, shoring up the forwards due to an injury and an old friend, Travis Dreger returned to the fold for this match. The Selects were anticipating the playoff season early with some rather "interesting" hairstyles. Seeing that most of the players would take an entire season to even begin to grow a playoff beard, they decided to go "extreme" on top. |

LIGHTNING STRIKES SELECTS |

The Eastman Selects took to the ice in Stony Mountain to take on the Interlake Lightning for the last time in the regular season on Thursday night. The Selects were looking for that elusive win that they’ve been looking for to nail down 5th place in the league, assuring them of a first round home team advantage in the playoffs. |
